Privacy for Families

Effective August 26, 2026

What PageMagic collects

For a parent account, the authentication provider stores the parent's account information. PageMagic stores saved books and, if a parent creates one, a child profile containing only an optional nickname, grade level, and saved-book connection. Children do not need their own email accounts.

How AI is used

After a parent gives permission, the topic, grade, selected page types, and image descriptions are sent through Base44's AI services. Live internet context may be used to locate research sources. A tapped word may be sent to create a simple definition. Do not enter private information in a research topic.

Sources and outside websites

Books store the titles, publishers, and web addresses of research sources. Children can view source names inside the app. Opening an outside website requires the adult check.

Advertising and analytics

PageMagic does not display third-party ads, sell personal information, or use behavioral advertising. The app does not intentionally enable behavioral analytics for children.

Retention and deletion

Saved books and learner profiles remain until the parent deletes them. Parents can delete saved learner data and initiate account deletion from Parent Center. Account-deletion requests are recorded for completion by the app operator.

Family choices

A parent can review sources, delete individual books, remove learner profiles, delete saved learner data, and withdraw by no longer using AI generation. Use the in-app Support page for privacy or safety questions.
